We are pleased to announce that High Tail Acres, LLC has again for the 12th year in a row been named a "Massachusetts Farm Bureau 2012 Horse Farm of Distinction. The Massachusetts Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) honored 30 barns statewide with this award. MFBF President, Dr. A. Richard Bonanno called the 30 barns "the cream of the crop" and added "These farms present to the public a safe and professional image. They truly show-case the horse industry in Massachusetts for the public." Judges evaluated neatness, ventilation, cleanliness and safety of buildings, land and equipment. Safety, first aid and fire protection programs were scored, as well as pest control and adequate provisions, both indoors and outdoors, for the care of the horse. |
